ThriveKY is Hitting the Road with New “Advocacy for Thriving Communities” Series!

Join KVH and our coalition of ThriveKY partners as we hit the road beginning in July and make 15 regional stops statewide to bring a new “Advocacy for Thriving Communities” educational and training series to Kentucky professionals on the frontline of safety net and public assistance programs. Speakers will discuss how to advocate for a stronger safety net through public assistance programs designed to support thriving communities. Learn more and register for an event near you by visiting tinyurl.com/Advocacy4ThrivingCommunities!

Each 2-hour session will cover:

  • Important updates on the economy, Medicaid, KCHIP, SNAP, housing, transportation, child care, public health, behavioral health, and suicide prevention.
  • New tools available to assist community members with meeting basic needs.
  • Tips on being a more effective advocate in your community.
